A file's Finder flags are displayed in the File Info window and in the Flags view of the File List. Shown left to right, the flags are:
 Desktop
 bFOwnAppl (reserved)
 (reserved)
 (reserved)
 never Switch Launch (unused)
 always Switch Launch
 application Shared
 Cache
 Inited
 Changed
 Busy
 NoCopy (BOZO)
 System

These flags determine ways the Finder treats the file. Unless you understand their purpose, it's best to leave the Finder flags alone.
